Where do I wear Tick Tape Wrap?

We recommend placing the wrap around the gap between your footwear and your tucked in pants and just below your knee. 

Ticks will craw on people from the ground and grass or weeds. As long as Tick Tape Wrap is worn above the vegetation you come in contact with, it will prevent ticks from latching on to you.

How do I apply Tick Tape Wrap?

To apply Tick Tape Wrap, start by ensuring that the adhesive side faces outward and away from your clothing. Next, wrap the tape around your leg in the desired area to be worn, making sure to overlap the wrap by at least one complete rotation. Once you've applied the desired amount of wrap, use a pair of scissors to cut the tape and make sure it adheres to itself. This will help ensure a secure and comfortable fit.

How do I remove Tick Tape Wrap?

It's important to remember that although ticks are unable to get past the adhesive, they still may be hanging around below the wrap. 

After wearing the wrap, use a strip of unused Tick Tape Wrap to stick against any ticks that may be crawling around freely (similar to a lint roller). Once all ticks are stuck, remove the wrap by rolling it up with the adhesive facing inward. 

Now that all the ticks are stuck, you can safely throw away the wrap. We recommend sealing the used wrap in a sealing plastic bag first, but then again we really hate ticks.

Is Tick Tape Wrap 100% effective?

No form of protection against ticks is 100% effective. But so long as Tick Tape Wrap is worn correctly with long pants and above the area where ticks crawl onto you, it will be nearly 100% effective against preventing ticks from finding a location to latch on to you.


How long does one application of Tick Tape Wrap last?

One application is designed to last 2-6 hours, depending on your type of activity. After that, we recommend re-applying the wrap for highest effectiveness.

Is Tick Tape Wrap waterproof? 

The Tick Tape Wrap adhesive is not designed to be waterproof and exposure to water will degrade its effectiveness.

How long will it take my order to ship?

Orders will ship from our warehouse within 2 business days. Your order's arrival time will be based on your shipping option selected. Our standard shipping with the USPS takes 2-6 business days.
